Each year the youth of EUM have a fundraiser called the Dessert Derby. It enables the youth ministry of EUM to offer scholarships to students and to raise necessary funds for the next year.More about the youth » 

This year the Dessert Derby will offer an hour of silent auction item bidding with appetizers, a delicious dinner and a LIVE auction where participants can bid on their favorite packages, as well as unbelievable desserts baked by the men of EUM Church that are able to be viewed as you enter the event. It is held on the third floor of EUM and is attended by 250+ members of the church and community. It is a wonderful time to get to know people of the church!

In addition to that, nursery care is available for infants - 3-yr-olds. Children 4-yr-olds - 5th Grade are invited to participate in the Children's Dessert Derby in which age-appropriate entertainment and a special dinner is provided on EUM's lower level.
